Does "go to hell" mean literally "go to hell" or it means other?

In this scenario, I believe it literally means to "go to hell." You may already know this, but "hell" is a horrible place in Christian mythology where bad people go after they die. Ex: She believes that people who commit crimes go to hell when they die. Ex: I don't want to go to hell. That is why I strive to do good things. In other scenarios, however, "Go to hell" is considered insulting. If someone tells you to "go to hell" he or she is very angry with you and is rejecting you in some way. Ex: Why don't you just go to hell! Ex: Go to hell! I don't need you.
