What is the difference of "out in the real world" and "in the real world"?

"Out in the real world" refers to experiencing life without a certain boundary, like school, work, etc. Ex: Out in the real world, nobody is going to help you with this. "In the real world" could mean the same thing, but it is also used to suggest that someone is living in a fantasy and trying to break them out of it. Ex: In the real world, you will never be able to afford that.
