"Get-go" significa "desde el principio". Se utiliza cuando quieres indicar el inicio de algo. Ej: "He was winning the race from the get-go, and then another contestant cheated." (Iba ganando la carrera desde el principio y luego otro participante hizo trampas.) Ej: "You didn't like me from the get-go. You should just never said so." (Desde el principio, no te gusté. Simplemente no lo deberías haber dicho nunca.) Ej: "I wish you had just been honest with me from the get-go." (Ojalá hubieras sido sincero desde el principio conmigo.) Ej: "People usually don't like me from the get-go. It takes time for them to warm up to me." (A la gente normalmente no le caigo bien al principio. Necesitan algo de tiempo para acercarse a mí.) Ej: "From the get-go, I knew this trip would be horrible." (Desde el principio, sabía que este viaje sería horrible.)
