Pensaba que "wind" no va junto al artículo definido "the", ¿por qué sí que es necesario?

"The" se utiliza a menudo al hablar sobre el viento como algo concreto del tiempo en general. Es similar a cuando se dice "the sun" o "the earth", que hablamos de elementos concretos y a veces se trata igual al viento. Si a "wind" le precede un adjetivo o una palabra que lo describa, se suele poner "a". Ej: "I find the wind very annoying." (El viento me parece muy molesto.) Ej: "A gentle wind blew through the house." (Una ligera brisa corría por la casa.) Ej: "The wind is really strong today." (El viento es bastante fuerte, hoy.)
