「pressing something」と「suppress something」の違いを教えてください。

「suppress something」は、何かを防ぐ、鎮圧する、抑制するという意味です。一方、「press something」は、物理的にボタンを押すこと意味することもあれば、解決しなければならない重要な問題を意味することもあります。 例: I will suppress the desire to get up and go to the fridge for some cake.（立ち上がって冷蔵庫にケーキを取りに行きたい気持ちを抑えます。） 例: Stop pressing the wrong button on the remote!（リモコンの間違ったボタンを押さないでください！） 例: Sir, there is a pressing issue that needs your attention right away. （先生、今すぐに注意しなければならない緊急の問題があります。）
