"Frankly" means in an open, honest, and direct manner. "Frankly" is used to emphasize the truth of a statement. This word can be placed pretty much anywhere in a sentence. Ex: Frankly, I don't like the idea of us going to the city. Ex: If I could be frank, I think we need to discuss our future plans. Ex: We need to be understanding and frank with these people.
