What's the main difference between "reuse" and "recycle?"

The difference between "reuse" and "recycle" is that if you "reuse" something, you can use it again in the same or similar state. Whereas if you "recycle" something, it means to convert the waste into reusable material. So, "reusing" requires little to no change in the state of the item compared to "recycling." Ex: Don't throw away the plastic cup. We can wash it and reuse it. Ex: We split our trash into different types of material so we can recycle it.
