An "egg hunt" is a game where children look around outside to find either decorated, hard-boiled eggs or plastic colored eggs with candy inside. The child with the most eggs usually wins a prize at the end. Or if they are plastic eggs with candy inside, the child with the most eggs will have the most candy. This is a tradition done during Easter, a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Egg hunts during Easter are very popular in the United States.
