I assume the word "gosh" has the same meaning as the "god" in this context. However, do you use to say "gosh" often in daily conversation?

Saying "gosh" is a softer, more mild way of saying "god". Some people think that "oh my god" is a swear word, so it became common to say "gosh" instead. It really depends on the people you talk to if "gosh" is used a lot! Personally, I say it a lot out of habit. But it's more common to say "god" when saying "oh my god". "Gosh" can also be used as an exclamation by itself. Ex: Oh my gosh! That soccer ball came out of nowhere and hit me. = Oh my god! That soccer ball came out of nowhere and hit me. Ex: Gosh! It's so cold outside.
