What does "lines" mean here?

Native speaker’s answer

"Lines" here is part of the full expression "[somewhere] along those lines," which means "something closely related" or "something similar." The speaker says "around" here but "along" should be used instead. We can understand that the speaker says "somewhere around those lines" to mean that her explanation of the music video to be generally correct or mostly similar to the real truth. Ex: A: Where is the nearest town? B: I think it's about 100km away. Or somewhere along those lines. Ex: I read that the explosion was caused by malfunctioning equipment, or somewhere along those lines.
