Yes! You can use it to indicate age. "Small" in reference to age usually means when you are a baby or a young child. "Big" can also be used to indicate age, however this is used more by children. Ex: When I'm big, I want to be an astronaut! Ex: I've eaten my pasta like this ever since I was small. Ex: When I was small, I received my first skateboard! Now I'm a professional skate boarder.
