Yes, it is different! "Such a good time" has greater emphasis than just "good time." It's kinda like saying "a really good time!" You can add "such a" to other adjectives as well to create emphasis. Ex: The jacket you gave me for my birthday was such a good gift, thank you! = it was an excellent gift. Ex: The jacket you gave me was a good gift, but I would have preferred a book. => it was okay or good, not amazing. Ex: I had such a bad day. = I had a really bad day.
