Here, "turbo" is a prefix that means driven by a turbine; a turbine engine. A "turbine" is a machine in which liquid, air, steam, or gas goes through and turns rotationally with blades to produce power. Ex: You can set up your own wind turbine at home to generate power. Ex: It has a turbojet engine.
