Great question! "Figure out" means to get an answer or understand something simply by thinking about the question or considering the problem by yourself, and coming to an answer or solution without any help. However, "find out" means to discover or learn information about something, with the idea that the answer already exists. We can find out information from various sources: the internet, a book, by asking someone who knows the answer and having them tell us, etc. The pizza store owner came up with the idea of the pizza place without any help, this is why he uses "figure out" instead of "find out". Ex: Can you find out where the closest train station is? Ex: I'm going to find out where she bought her dress. Ex: I need to figure out the right answer for this equation. Ex: I can't figure out what's wrong with the TV.
