Good question! A "password' is usually longer than a code and can contain any words, letters, or numbers. You can say a "password" out loud when you're trying to enter an exclusive place. A "code" consists of numbers or patterns and is usually shorter than a password. A "code" can also be a system of communication. Occasionally, you can use them interchangeably, but not all the time. Ex: Did you hear that? It sounded like someone was using morse code to tell us something. Ex: The bodyguard asked me what the password was to enter the club, but I couldn't think of anything.
