Kiwi asks…
What's "pass on" mean?
Answer from a Native speaker

Rebecca
To "pass [something] on," as said here, means to give something to someone. Perhaps instead of, or including, you. To "Pass on" means to give something to someone from someone else. To "pass on" can also mean to die, but the context will probably help determine which meaning is used. Ex: I have a message to pass on to you from the Queen. Ex: Did you hear? The famous singer passed on. Ex: I'm passing my hat onto you. Now it's yours and not mine. Ex: I'm passing on some positive energy! Since I have so much of it this morning.
