What is the difference between "no problem" and "can't hurt"?

"Can't hurt" and "no problem" are not related phrases. "Can't hurt" means "will not do any damage" or "will not cause harm". "No problem" means "there is not a problem". Ex: Although I'm on a diet, eating one bite of cake can't hurt. Ex: This costs more than my budget allows, but I'll buy it anyway. Spending a little more money can't hurt.
