Como verbo, entertainsignifica dar placer a alguien o considerar algo. Ejemplo: I would never entertain the thought of dropping out of school. (Nunca me gustaría la idea de abandonar la escuela). Ejemplo: She entertained us by playing the piano. (Nos entretenía tocando el piano) Ejemplo: You can entertain yourselves by playing a game. (Puedes entretenerte mientras juegas) Ejemplo: The crowd was entertained. (la multitud se regocijó)
