"Lost-and-found" es el lugar al que se llevan los objetos perdidos para que los propietarios puedan ir a buscarlos cuando se den cuenta de que lo han perdido. Ej: "I found my old cap in the school's lost-and-found! I thought it was lost forever." (¡Encontré mi gorra en objetos perdidos! Pensaba que la había perdido para siempre.) Ej: "Let's put this wallet in the lost-and-found in case anyone goes back for it." (Dejemos la cartera en objetos perdidos por si alguien vuelve a buscarla.) Ej: "If things stay in the lost-and-found for, like, a month, they throw it away." (Si hay cosas que se quedan durante alrededor de un mes en objetos perdidos, lo tiran.)
