Look insignifica ver dentro de algo, e look atsignifica ver algo diretamente. Exemplo: She looked in the closet to find her dress. (Ela olha para o armário em busca do vestido.) Exemplo: He likes to look at the cows when visiting his grandparent's farm. (Ele gosta de ver as vacas quando visita a fazenda de seus avós.) Exemplo: Look in the glass. Can you see the image on the bottom? (Olhe dentro do vidro, veja a foto no chão?) Exemplo: Can we look at the house? (Posso ver a casa?)
