"Save it" is an expression that means don't say what you were going to say; stop talking. If someone says that to you, it means that he wants you to stop talking because he doesn't want to hear what you are going to say. Ex: Save it! I don't need your opinion. Ex: Save it. I don't care what you have to say. You lied to me! Ex: Save it. I don't believe you.
