Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

To "keep up" with someone means to be able to move and or progress at the same rate as someone else. The speaker is stating that actors working with Chadwick needed to be able to do as well as Chadwick when acting. Ex: Will you be able to keep up with me? No offense, but you haven't really trained to run a 5K. Ex: Don't worry, you will be able to keep up with the other students.
