A "bachelor" refers to a man who is not and has never been married! A "dandy" is British English for a man dressed smartly! So a "bachelor dandy" is a single man who dresses smartly- "bachelor dandies" for the plural form. You'll hear the word "bachelor" sometimes, but "dandy" isn't too common. "Dandy" or "dandies" was mostly said in the 18th and 19th centuries. Ex: I thought I'd be a bachelor forever, but I'm getting married next week. Ex: Back in the day, there were a lot of bachelor dandies. Ex: He's what we'd call a "dandy" with the way he's dressed.
