To "focus on" something means to give all of one's attention or efforts to something. In this case, "the whole first season is focused more on Rachel" means that Rachel was the center or focus of the show, that most of its attention was placed on her. Ex: I like to focus on one thing at a time. Ex: I focus all of my time on my family.
