So from what I can understand in this video, they're saying that he wasn't able to be a part of that Squad due to an injury - so he "missed out" on that experience. Ex: I'm coming with you because I don't want to miss out on all the fun. Ex: She missed out on going to the party due to being sick. Ex: I don't want you to miss out.
