An "inhibition" is a feeling of embarrassment or a feeling that makes one insecure and prevents you from saying or doing what one wants. Ex: Theatre work doesn't have any room for inhibitions. You have to give it your all. => give it your all = put in all of one's effort Ex: After a couple of drinks, my inhibitions went away.
